Steve Kessel is currently on sabbatical from his role at Amazon.com and is living with his family for one year outside Toulouse, France.
Steve joined Amazon in 1999 and is currently Senior Vice President of Kindle at Amazon. Steve started the Kindle business at Amazon and lead all aspects of the Kindle business including industrial design, hardware engineering, software engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing. Steve also lead the Kindle Books group and launched the AmazonMP3 business and Amazon Digital Video business.
Steve received his bachelor’s degree Computer Science from Dartmouth
College and an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School ofBusiness.
